Trout Dries

There is a great deal of variety in my dry fly box. I love tying and fishing parachute flies. I find them extremely effective. I am sure that is because they sit in the surface film and imitate a spent insect. Most of my parachute patterns are directed at mayfly hatches. I also have quite a few Elk Hair Caddis in my fly box. I tie them in 4 colors, tan, gray, cream, and olive. That is a good selection of colors for the hatches in my area. You should modify them to fit your area. And of course I still like tying and using some of the classic dries.  Check them out below!
